The Experiential Design & Creativity Awards (EDCA) made a grand debut this year, recognizing the creative excellence of more than 50 event agencies across the country. Held at the picturesque Roaring Farm in Mumbai, the event brought together over 800 event professionals for a day of masterclasses, panel discussions, and outstanding performances.
In its inaugural year, the EDCA witnessed participation from over 75 agencies, with more than 600 entries submitted for various award categories. The highest winners of the night included Hyperlink Brand Solutions, Event Crafter, Laqshya Live Experiences, White Marketing, techXP, kestone Global, Ink In Caps, and several other prestigious event agencies.
The UNconference format featured masterclass circles led by renowned industry leaders such as Brian Tellis, Neeraj Gaba, Piyush Gupta, Sandip Pattanaik, and Krupasagar Sridharan. Attendees had the opportunity to learn from these experts and engage in discussions about the future of experiential design and creativity in the event industry.
Two insightful panel discussions were held during the event, moderated by Seema Sood (Qicom). The first panel, featuring Gaurav Vasani, Sanjeev Kapoor, and Dinesh Shetty, focused on Event Safety & Insurance. The second panel, with Anurag Abraham (AWS) and Deepak Chaudhary (EVA Live), explored innovation in IPs and the impact of technology on the industry.
The evening was further enhanced by enthralling performances from ace percussionist Taufiq Qureshi & Mumbai Stamp, as well as Amrita Joshi, Sherrin Varghese, and Jimmy Felix, adding a touch of entertainment and celebration to the event.
The success of the first-ever EDCA signifies the growth and importance of creative excellence in the event industry. As the event landscape continues to evolve, the EDCA awards will remain a testament to the innovative and boundary-pushing work of event agencies nationwide.
