Year 2019 marked the 20th anniversary of victory in ‘Operation Vijay’, popularly known as the ‘Kargil War’.
The Kargil War will always be remembered for its strategic and tactical surprises, the self-imposed national strategy of restraint in keeping the war limited to Kargil-Siachen sectors, and the swiftly executed tri-services military strategy and plans. The Kargil War will also be remembered for the determination and daring junior leadership and the raw courage of our jawans at tactical level.
The objective of the celebration is to evoke feeling of nationalism and patriotism and to pay homage to the valiant soldiers.
CRI events had the honor of managing this prestigious event from conceptualization to implementation, and they did it with absolute pride, passion and perfection!
The event was held on 27th July,19 at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Delhi and was graced by Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh Ji along with all the three Army Chiefs (Army, Air Force , Navy).

The theme for the event was Remember, Rejoice & Renew. We ‘remember’ our martyrs, by revisiting the sacrifices and instilling pride and respect among us, we ‘rejoice’ by celebrating the victory in Kargil and we ‘renew’ our resolve to safeguard the honour of the tricolour. CRI Events takes great pride in winning the mandate to conceptualize, organize & manage the entire event to make it a memorable celebration for every Indian and actually created goose bumps for the audience.“

Highlights of the event included performances by Army Band, Naval Drummers, Military Drill by the Gorkha regiment & Air force school along with heart-touching dance performances by Feel Crew, Kings United and soulful music by Shillong Choir, Mohit Chauhan.
